Though I am pretty tired, it is great to be back at Bryant. They’re keeping us busy with Bryant Experience. I’m working with a team of about 18 other students, preparing to help move the freshman class in successfully this weekend. It’s pretty much an all day thing. Meanwhile Normal Kings is just getting started on some real sick new web projects. That’s all for now.

MIDDLETOWN - Most college students work odd jobs while at school. Whether it is working at the college cafeteria, bookstore or library, it is usually for minimum wage and it is not a future career for any student. Joe D’Ambrose and John Wallace, however, own their business. D’Ambrose and Wallace started their own company, Normal Kings Inc. Business 101 faculty at Bryant have asked my partners and I to be the first guest speakers of the new school year. Mike Hajjar and I will be talking in front of new freshmen and other students in Janikies theatre on September 6th at 6:00. We’re going to talk about Expedient Laundry and how it went from a Business 101 assignment into a “real” business. Not sure yet how we’ll go about preparing for that, but it should be interesting. Normal Kings has completed the re-design of VHSoftware.com. Visual Horizons is a software company, based in Miami, FL, owned by Brian Wilson (a Bryant alum). They sell great software to consignment shops and pawn shops.

With the help of David Pritchard (thank you!), we’ve officially become Normal Kings, Inc. We are no longer “Normal Kings Productions”. For more reasons than one, Normal Kings is best fit as a corporation rather than a sole proprietorship or LLC. Thanks to Big Dooz for helping us out.

I just got back from spending 3 nights wandering around and seeing the sights with my folks in Baltimore. My sister has a sweet new pad in the city, just a block down from Camden Yards (home of the Orioles). Baltimore’s a cool city; nice inner harbor and whatnot. Good times. Now, back to work.
